So, about my last blog...

First, let me begin by wishing you all a very prosperous and amazing New Year! This is also a leap year, so I want us to leap into the best version of ourselves. There comes a time in life where you have to be honest with yourself, and check yourself. If you fall off, get back up and proceed.

In my last blog post, I told you exactly what to tell your competition. I also informed you that you were your own competition. Well I come to inform you that anytime you challenge your competition, your competition is going to push back.

A while back I made a social media post about how I lost over 50 pounds. Well over the course of the last few weeks I gained a few of those pounds back. I think it was my competition's way of saying, "Oh so you wanna write about me, and curse me out huh?"

Here is the crazy thing, those pounds didn't come back from poor eating or not exercising. I think it may be from me eating just a little too much, or maybe even at the wrong times. The body is quite the interesting equation that you have to constantly adjust to balance.

I want to let each and every one of you know that no matter what comes your way, no matter how much your competition or any outside force attempts to hinder you, no matter how many times you think you have missed the mark, you are still in the game as long as you don't quit.

Despite, the loud chatter of self doubt and possibly self pity, I had to remind my competition to shut the hell up. I got a head start on my competition as well as everyone else, and I didn't wait until January 1st to take it to the next level. The above picture was me Sunday, starting the week off right with what I like to dub, "Self Care Sunday". I'm a firm believer that one must get out of their comfort zone to become the best version of their self.

I encourage you to go after your goals, hopes, dreams, and aspirations with every fiber of your being in this new year and new decade. Don't wait on anyone to give you permission to tackle any obstacle that comes your way. And again, remember what to tell your competition if YOU give yourself too much resistance. I would like to remind you that I am proud of you, and I have your back in 2020.

As always, remember that God loves you and so do I. Love Life, Live Love, Peace Together, Not Apart.
